The 41 Alliance + Mega Squad 2 - Response & Reflection

This is a video I wanted to make for a while, responding to the reviews and reflecting on the design process of the maps I made in The 41 Alliance + Mega Squad 2, a custom campaign that I created in Wargroove 2 starring my online friends. This campaign is a sequel to The 41 Alliance + Mega Squad, which I created in Wargroove 1 back in 2019.

There's no script, no notes, and no canned responses here -- just off the cuff talking about what goes into making something like this and talking about my design decisions. Feel free to agree or disagree or add to the discussion in some other way, but if this generates more discussion around the finer design points of these maps then that's mission accomplished in my book.

This video is also a bit of a proof of concept for the direction I would like to take my YouTube channel in the future if I were to bring it back. Future videos wouldn't be nearly this lengthy, but it would be more of this unscripted style of talking about my thoughts of various games (the video length I would be aiming for is somewhere around the 15 minute mark). Let me know if that's something you may be interested in because I think that is something I want to roll with when maybe I get some ounce of free time back next year as the kids get older.
