Christian Anime - Supernesis Comics

Описание: If you’ve followed my channel you know I try to get the word out on Christian Manga and any solid resources for children and teens. Supernesis Cómics has several anime comic books in Manga style that have brief overviews of stories in the Bible. While these are not something I would consider a replacement for reading God’s Word, they are a great alternate to some of the anime and manga that targets our kids.

Christian parents, we have to face what the world is presenting and not all of it is (in fact most of it is not) innocent. While it may not be obvious, there can be subtle things in what our kids watch and read that go against important things we believe. I think it is not only convenient, but necessary to have alternatives for our kids rather than sticking our heads in the sand.

Art is not evil. In fact, art is from God. Culture is also not evil. It is when cultures embrace evil and false gods that it becomes the problem. The beauty of art and culture is that in the right hands it can become a beautiful tool to engage God’s people. From music, to movies, and beyond, the Christian world has seemingly been decades behind and it’s time for that to change. In fact, it is Christians that should be the most innovative and creative because we have the greatest artist living within us.
