Dyeing with Ancient Madder Ep.8

Описание: In this experiment I attempted to dye with Madder! Madder is the oldest red humanity ever made (that we know of so far) but requires a LARGE volume of ground root to the fiber weight. You can see how greedy the yarns got, soaking up more and more of the dye bath until it was totally exhausted and leaving the faintest pinks. I kept one skein of pink to use in a saxon blue overdyeing experiment later in the month!
