Irwin Prescott was born in the community of Widdifield, Ontario, now part of North Bay. In 1960, so the liner notes say, Irwin performed CONTINOUSLY FOR 36 HOURS at the North Bay Memorial Gardens to raise money for the local Santa Claus Fund for needy children.
