Описание: Now that you’re familiar with what Every Door Direct Mail (EDDM®) marketing is, let's explore how you can use it to begin selecting a target audience for your mailing campaign. In this video, a real estate marketer discusses how the EDDM online tool allows them to reach their target audience. We’ll also give a step-by-step walk-through of the tool.

By allowing businesses to focus their efforts on nearby customers who fit into target demographics[1], companies can ensure they’re engaging the right people at the right time. In the real estate industry, for example, marketers may filter by household income so that customers receive notices only for properties that fit their budget.

The EDDM tool is also ideal for forming more personal connections with the community. In real estate, this may mean connecting with potential sellers or spreading general brand awareness.

We’ll also cover requirements for businesses sending more than 5,000 pieces of mail per day to a single ZIP CodeTM area. In these cases, you’ll need to use an EDDM BMEU® (Business Mail Entry Unit) account. We’ll explain how to get started setting this up.
