Описание: Devendra Gupta shares his work towards making a difference to Humans. Despite being born in slums and left to fend for himself and his younger sister when he was 2 years old, he did not give up and decided to provide, dignity, work, and life to lakhs of underprivileged and slum girls. His work has been well recognized and is a true story of Grit and Determination. Imagine you were left by your parents at the age of 2 along with your 3-day old sister at a relative's house. Grew up in slums, bashed up by drug peddlers, Mr. Gupta decided very early to make his life count. He He is a grass-root level social worker & rehabilitator to a multitude of unprivileged slum girls. He is conferred with National Award by Government of India and his organization Ladli Foundation Trust granted Special Consultative Status by the United Nation. He did not get a chance to call a place his home for a very long time, but today he’s the reason behind the happiness of a large number of families by providing them homes, respect and dignity. The likes of President of our country and personalities like Mr. Amitabh Bachchan have applauded and acknowledged his contribution.
