The Pedal Gauntlet is an attempt to test pedals, in near-identical situations, through common points of reference, to give an understanding of exactly how the pedals sound. Pedals are tested in a variety of ways and styles, through a variety of guitars, into different amplifiers.
The screen switches from black and white to colour to indicate when the pedal is off\on (respectively). Each test will involve hearing the clean signal, the affected signal, the pedal in a band mix and finally on a solo. At the end, I will explain what the pedal is and my thoughts on it.
