Описание: Description: This film looks at the building of Thamesmead by the GLC -- including Stages 1 and 2. It shows the architectural plans and models; the planning of transport and shopping provision; the landscaping work etc. Looks at the input of the Greater London Council, through the Thamesmead Committee. Shows the first family to move in, the completion of the first tower block, and a meeting of the Residents' Association.
