Taking Most Expensive Flight Of My Life, Africa To India

Описание: 🌍 I planned an adventurous road trip from Morocco all the way to Nigeria, but I could only make it till The Gambia. From there, I had to return back to India because the heavy rains made traveling through West Africa extremely risky. Countries like Guinea, Sierra Leone, Liberia, and beyond become very difficult to cross during the rainy season as roads turn into mud and in many areas, proper roads don’t even exist. For safety, I decided to pause my journey – but I’ll continue this adventure in the future!

✈️ My return to India turned into another adventure itself. I had to book one of the most expensive flights of my life, because in Africa flight connections are not great and tickets are very costly. I flew with Ethiopian Airlines, with multiple layovers – in Sierra Leone, Accra (Ghana), and Addis Ababa (Ethiopia).

🏨 In Addis Ababa, I had a 19-hour layover, but Ethiopian Airlines provided me with a free 5-star hotel stay, which was an unexpected luxury in the middle of this tough journey.
