To maximize your common mode rejection ratio, you may want to consider implementing active grounding or a driven right leg in your ECG (EKG) design!
Active grounding actively grounds the body's potential while [1] lowering the effective impedance between the system ground and the body, [2] lowering common mode potential variations across the body, and [3] lowering the common mode disturbance at the instrumentation amplifier output.
