奈良若草山焼き2026【とある会社の歩こー会】

Описание: 令和8年1月24日土曜日、奈良県奈良市にある若草山の山焼きを見に行きました。
東大寺と興福寺による領地争いがあり双方立会いの上で焼き払って和解したのが発端ともいわれ、江戸時代に、若草山三重目の頂上にある鶯塚古墳の慰霊だと民間人により火を点けられることが多く、幕末には東大寺・興福寺と奈良奉行所が立ち会って鶯塚古墳の鎮魂を含めて山を焼くようになったそうです。
JR奈良駅から三条通りを歩いて、猿沢池を経て奈良国立博物館を過ぎたあたりで打ち上げ花火が始まりました。15分間の花火が終われば、若草山焼きです。
無料観覧エリアから山焼きを見ましたが、山が壮大に燃える風景を初めて見た私たちは感動しました。

On Saturday, January 24th, 2026, we went to see the mountain burning ceremony at Mt. Wakakusa in Nara City, Nara Prefecture.
It is said that the origin of this festival was a territorial dispute between Todaiji Temple and Kofukuji Temple, where both sides burned down the mountain in the presence of each other to settle the matter. During the Edo period, fires were often lit by civilians as a memorial to the spirits of the Uguisuzuka Tomb at the top of Mount Wakakusa, and at the end of the Edo period, Todaiji Temple, Kofukuji Temple, and the Nara Magistrate's Office began to be present when the mountain was burned, including to commemorate the spirits of the Uguisuzuka Tomb.
Walking along Sanjo Street from JR Nara Station, past Sarusawa Pond and the Nara National Museum, the fireworks began. After the 15-minute fireworks, the Wakakusayama Burning Festival began.
We watched the mountain burning from the free viewing area, and it was our first time seeing the magnificent sight of a mountain burning, and we were deeply moved.
