A centre in Kismayo is helping returnees from the Dadaab refugee camp in Kenya rebuild their lives. The centre is funded by the UN, and run by the American Refugee Committee -- an international charity that supports returnees in Somalia. It was set up last year when the first group of Somalis started to arrive back home. To date, more than 75-thousand people have chosen to return to Somalia from Kenyan refugee camps. This centre alone has supported 1-thousand 2-hundred of these returnees. The centre provides cash grants to help the former refugees start businesses and empower themselves. For many, it's a chance to start over.
