The performance of this piece is dedicated to my former East Carolina University flute teacher, composer, and dear friend, Dr. Christine Gustafson.
Jesus, the very thought of thee
with sweetness fills the breast;
but sweeter far thy face to see,
and in thy presence rest.
This performance was part of the Plass Recital Series at Saint Andrew’s (Bryan, TX): Made possible by a grant from the Plass Arts Foundation.
