Olivia Dunham | "I am just still being used"

THE THEME OF THE VIDEO: this focuses on Olivia's abuse and how she has been "used". Not only that, but how she has been lied to and manipulated by so many people. It also then focuses on how she has become strong because of what she has been through but how she has also had to put up a wall and guard herself from the pain of it all. I hope these themes also stood out to you.

Olivia Dunham is truely one of the greatest female characters of all time. She is so so incredibly strong but a significant trait of hers is that she uses her emotions, even though she has a wall, she still lets her empathy and her feelings affect her work and as she says, it makes her a "better agent".
She is also very very well written, I could analyse her character for years because of how many layers she has!! and those layers don't make her less consistent, her character develops a lot BUT she is always the same olivia, her character rarely does anything I see as "out of character". She is in depth bc of how much they focus on her feelings of certain events and they also show her past, as shown a lot in this video. You basically learn everything about Olivia Dunham, Fringe is incredibly good at writing characters.

So if you have not seen Fringe then I definitely recommend it!! it starts out being a case by case show, exploring sci fi type things, and then becomes a main story revolving around the characters. If you like sci fi or deep characters, then this show is for you.
