Might as well put my thoughts about A-1000 now that's been almost 8 months since my successful run.
I remember how stressful this can be, all for a stupid badge. Man, doing the same thing for 3 hours is so stupid. I know the idea of the badge was that it's supposed to be something that only try-hards would complete, but I think it really failed in that category. I am not a good DOORS player. Hell, I think I'm kind of average (in terms of players that have beaten DOORS at least 5 times or so, and fully understand all the mechanics). The hardest part of this achievement is the time sink. This run took me FIVE HOURS. I spent I believe ~30-45 minutes in The Basement and 3 hours in The Rooms. I spent the remaining time doing priorities that I HAD to do during that time. Nowadays, I'm pretty sure you can speedrun A-1000 Rooms in like an hour or so, but for most peoples first run, it'll probably be a while. If you have the time for it, get the badge and brag about it. Was it worth it? Hmm...
eh, 4/10. Feels cool, didn't feel like I accomplished anything with skill.
