From January 7–9, 2025, in Sacramento, CA, the Bureau of Land Management Advisory Board convened to discuss the future of America’s wild horses and burros. Team AWHC was there, both in person and virtually.
Advocates joined via Zoom, showcasing overwhelming public support for protecting our wild herds! We want to give a heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated—whether in person, over Zoom, or by submitting a public comment online. Our community truly showed up, and we had an impact.
For the first time, the Board has recommended prioritizing and expanding fertility control programs across all HMAs. This progress is thanks to you—bringing your voices to the table and standing up for wild horse conservation!
