Ukraine's president Volodymyr Zelenskyy says Russia has launched nearly 300 attack drones, and 50 missiles on Ukraine in the last 24 hours, hitting everything from the capital to critical energy infrastructure.
At least one person was killed and several injured in the Kyiv region.
Strikes also hit Odesa.
In western Lviv, police say explosive devices rocked the city centre just after midnight.
