I’m Leah, a cash stuffer, color-lover, and dreamer working to pay down debt, build savings, and still live a joyful, beautiful life along the way. In today’s video, I’m cash stuffing my first paycheck of January, and January is a magic month for me.

Because I budget my bills across two paychecks each month, I’m able to use this entire paycheck to cash stuff into my binders today. In total, I’m cash stuffing $2,925.

💸 Here’s where the money came from:

$2,525 from my first January paycheck

$400 in Christmas money

Plus the remaining cash in my wallet, which I’m adding into a few of my savings challenges

I’m switching up my usual order this month because I’m planning to do a cash condensing next week. I haven’t done a cash condensing since I started my cash stuffing journey back in July of 2025, and January feels like the perfect time to reset. Moving forward, I’m hoping to make cash condensing a quarterly habit.

Since January is a magic month with an extra paycheck, it made more sense to stuff intentionally first and then condense later. With so much cash flowing into my binders this month, I want to be thoughtful about what stays in cash and what is better kept safely in the bank earning interest in my high-yield savings accounts.
