After Stephanie tells Brooke that she no longer has a strong hold on the Forrester family, Brooke refuses to let Stephanie take R.J. to Ridge, claiming that he needs to come himself. Ridge and Ashley flirt on their date, after which he goes over to Brooke’s house to see his son. Brooke pulls Ridge into a kiss, asking him to spend the night with his family. Ashley is annoyed at Stephanie for putting her between Ridge and Brooke’s problems. While Rick worries that the other men in Ashley’s life will not be good enough for her, he realizes that the best way to stay connected to Phoebe is through music and singing. Bridget tells him that their mother wants to go back to Ridge, but Rick does not think that Brooke can handle another rejection from him.
