In Arcane 1x7, "The Boy Savior," Vi and Caitlyn are captured by the Firelights, led by an older Ekko, who is surprised to see Vi alive. Meanwhile, Viktor makes a difficult choice to use the unstable Hexcore to heal himself, while Jayce is pushed by Mel to develop Hextech weapons. At the end, Ekko helps Vi and Caitlyn escape a trap set by Marcus, but Jinx's intervention causes chaos, and Ekko ends up fighting her to give them time to flee.
