Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell says the primary issue around Anthony Albanese’s meeting with Donald Trump is the AUKUS pact.
The Prime Minister and the Foreign Minister confirmed Australia will recognise Palestinian statehood at the UN General Assembly in September.
“My biggest fear for Australia is that AUKUS falls over – not really whether or not Anthony Albanese meets Donald Trump,” Mr Clennell said.
