Q 3. What are the foundations for Christian-Muslim Relations? What are the barriers you find while promoting interfaith relations?
Q 4. You serve as the Secretary of Islamic Studies Association (ISA). What are the ways in which the ISA promotes interfaith dialogue in India?

About the speaker
Dr. Fr. Victor Edwin is a Lecturer at Vidyajyoti College of Theology, New Delhi. He teaches theology, Islam and Christian-Muslim Relations at Vidyajyoti College and several other Catholic theological institutes. He is also the Director of the Vidyajyoti Institute of Islamic Studies (VIDIS). Besides he serves as Secretary of the Islamic Studies Association (ISA), Delhi and edits ISA quarterly “Salaam,” a quarterly journal to promote understanding.
He holds a Master’s degree in Islamic Studies from Aligarh Muslim University and earned his Licentiate in Theology from Vidyajyoti College of Theology, before gaining an M.Phil. in Christian-Muslim Relations at the University of Birmingham, UK. He holds a PhD in Islamic Studies from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi.
