How do we define normal, and how do we choose what normal should be? Becky Shields, and her remarkable personal story of grappling with a rare neuromuscular disease at a young age, challenges us to believe that "normal" need not be prescribed, and will inspire you to choose your own definition of normal.
Becky is a Grade 11 student at Msgr. John Pereyma Catholic Secondary School in Oshawa. She is a member of the Performing Arts program, has performed in numerous plays/musicals, and is a member of the school's leadership team.
