Today I’m crossing the Birgunj border from India into Nepal by land.
After a quick check at the gate, I’m ready to start my journey towards the Himalayas!”

“I took a local bus from Birgunj to Pokhara — a long ride of almost 8 hours.
The road passes through towns, hills, rivers, and beautiful green valleys.
Simple food, friendly people, and nonstop views made the trip amazing.”

“By evening, I reached Pokhara, the lake city of Nepal.
Next morning, the view of the mountains was unbelievable.
From here, I took another bus towards Nayapul, the gateway to Ghandruk.”

From Nayapul, it’s a short but steep mountain ride to Ghandruk village.
Finally reached — calm air, stone houses, and the mighty Himalayas in front of me.”

From crossing the Birgunj border to reaching Ghandruk,
it’s not just a journey across Nepal — it’s a journey into peace and nature.”
