Описание: A shocking incident has raised serious questions about the administrative system after a mother had to mortgage her ration card to fund her son's arm surgery. Her son, Krishna Naik, a student of Sinpur Nodal High School, broke his arm while participating in a district-level track and field competition. Allegedly, the school authorities knowingly failed to provide any assistance. The helpless mother ultimately mortgaged her rice ration card for ₹4,000 to cover the operation costs at a hospital. Upon learning of the incident, Sonepur Collector Nrupraj Sahu rushed to the hospital. After inquiring into the matter and providing assistance, the Collector took stern action. Following his orders, the District Education Officer suspended District Sports Inspector Jyotikanta Bhoi for negligence in duty. The operation on Krishna Naik was successfully completed yesterday at a private hospital. However, the alleged negligence of the school authorities has cast a significant question mark over the administrative system
