Wang dismisses a number of Top-Level AI Concerns, including doomsday “Terminator 2”-style scenarios. But he also suggests that AI job displacement won’t happen all at once, and may help fill in gaps in the labor market rather than taking away all the human jobs.
It’s a counter-intuitive and fascinatingly prescient take, from 6 whole years ago, coming from one of AI’s leading visionaries.
