Double-headed shay locomotives and vintage Western Maryland diesels were on display at the 2008 Cass Railfan Weekend, sponsored by the Mountain State Railroad and Logging Historical Association on May 16-17-18, 2008.
Shays 2, 4, and 5 provided steam and logging enthusiasts a weekend of incredible mountain railroading under both sunny and
rainy skies. Vintage diesels in Western Maryland livery, including original WM BL2 #82, pulled a mixed photo freight, met the Cass log train at the lost town of Spruce, West Virginia, and participated in afternoon runbys along the Upper Shavers line at Twin Bridges
and Milepost 83.
This is the complete "Cass Railfan Weekend 2008" that I have previously released on DVD.
