This is our workaway set up in rural Georgia, more than a little rustic we know 😂 It has been quite an experience staying here. We really enjoyed interacting with the locals and our neighbors in this small rural village called Sveri in the middle of Georgia.

Workaway has really opened up opportunities for us to not only travel on a budget but also experience different cultures firsthand. We are so grateful for this!

Our tips for doing a workaway in rural Georgia
◾Confirm with your host whether they will provide you with transport to get to and from the workaway
◾ Make sure there is an accessible shop nearby for food or confirm with your host that they will provide you with food
◾ As with most workaways, always confirm the working hours and have a clear structure as to when you are working and when you are not.
