Описание: In 1971 Jay Ward, creator of 'Rocky and His Friends', 'The Bullwinkle Show', 'Fractured Flickers' and other shows, opened The Dudley Do-Right Emporium, a truly eccentric gift store. A customer could not only purchase the usual merchandise related to the shows - toys, stuffed animals, trinkets, hats, t-shirts, wristwatches, original animation cels, cartoon scripts, etc. - but (according to the Emporium mail order catalogue anyway) could also purchase a solid gold egg for $30,000 or have the management shave, address and stamp a coconut and drop it in the nearest mailbox, among other services. One of the things they offered was a cassette recording of most of the music associated with the shows, which I purchased back then and only recently digitized. The tape includes not only the major theme music for Rocky & Bullwinkle, George of the Jungle, etc., but also a lot of the incidental music for Dudley Do-Right and Fractured Flickers, plus a great deal of truly eccentric music apparently created for some special occasion and included for no particular reason, e.g. "Guy Lombardo Meets Thelonious Monk" and "Trumpington Ra Ra Ra". Jay Ward Productions must have been a fun place to work.
