Let's take a trip on digital wonder drugs,
Hashtag Hugs and Instabuzz that taste like tribal bubble gum,
Doesn't matter what dealer you buy it from,
Little lights and push button highs,
Every channel can get you some,
Whitewashed heads on squeaky clean T.V.s
Or dirty poet's pens in subversive magazines,

Sell your soul to practice what they preach
And starve to death on the soundbites they feed
That fatling calf you've been trained to be,
They ring the bell and you nearly kill yourself
Tripping over each other's empty shells
Eyes on your phones, ignore the broken bones
Just to find a safe trough to eat ;

Well,
Hate me rape me fear dot com
It's all fallout from the fashion bomb,
Kiss me hold me ease my pain
Yes we'll make all the confusion fade away,
It's as easy as an open grave,
Just click your way to a happy place
Where all your wrongs are as right as rain
In an echo chamber of mirrors made
Of Infinite reflections of your pretty sedated face ;

Lets draw a line at being too curious,
What a waste of time is fighting fads like a deadly plague,
If you think too much you're another drunk of unique design,
What kind of fool can't see the value of being one and the same,

Happy are the blind, meek are the mild, calm are the tame,
Sad are the unconfined, restless are the wild and evil are the brave,
Show me all your colors, I'll paint it black and burn the flag you wave,
Step back in line and never redefine...
or you'll never be one of the saved ;

Follow the quiet hoards of the walking calm
More fallout from this fashion bomb,
Just dust and bones and weeping stones
Cataloged in the memory of silent drones
That keep you safe and tucked away
In pretty prison picket fenced modular homes,

When hearts are just copy and paste replications
And all our thoughts are hardwired and cloned
I'll speak your every word to the same old song,
In a fair trade off for a voice of our own
Is the promise that as one we'll never have to cry,
Think for ourselves or live life alone,

Reveal every secret and bless me every answer
Because that little magic box has told me so,
As long as I never look up, never question the faith,
Just buy the latest model of our inoffensive neutral grey
And let that fashion bomb blow all your unique colors
Of individual thought away ;

Because don't you know
Automatons are always blissful and happy
And the willingly sedated are always satisfied and safe :
