On January 7, 2026, an ICE officer fatally shot a 37-year-old woman, Renee Nicole Good, during an immigration enforcement operation in south Minneapolis. Federal officials claimed the agent fired in self-defense, saying the woman “weaponized her vehicle” against officers.
