Описание: Food insecurity is a problem for students in colleges all across the United States, and a recent survey showed that our Marion Campus is no different. In fact, based on the survey's results, 26.7% of students on our campus have struggled at some point with knowing how they were going to afford their next meal. In response to this need, a team of faculty and staff along with the student organization,the Buckeye Food Alliance recently opened a food pantry at The Ohio State University at Marion. Students in need of food can make an appointment on Mondays and two Thursdays of each month to receive healthy, basic food staples. Sixteen students in English 3304, Business and Professional Writing are running this campaign as part of their coursework.
