They have reported that they will TRIPLE audit rates on certain corporations, 10x their audit rates on certain partnerships, and increase audit rates by more than 50% on certain individuals.

To add to this, the IRS has been beefing up their audit workforce to add tens of thousands of people. And they are willing to pay generous 6-figure salaries to attract the best auditors.
