As Christmas approaches, we celebrate the birth of Jesus. But do you ever stop and think about the fact that He was once a precious little baby? That He had a mother and father who raised Him, taught Him to speak, to walk. That those words would someday teach the world. Those hands would someday be pierced by nails. And I often wonder - did Mary and Joseph know everything He would go through?
And He did it all for us.
He became flesh and did not sin.
He is the King of kings, but humbled Himself.
A baby, a child, a teenager, a young man. He remained perfect through it all. And He sacrificed Himself for us.
