Firstly, K-Pop Demon Hunters was created by Maggie Kang, Produced by Sony Pictures Animation, and owned by Netflix.
It has been a while since I have done a virtual lighting project, but after watching 'K-Pop Demon Hunters', I was inspired.
Here is a theatre lighting concept of the final song, 'What It Sounds Like'. This is entirely programmed and visualised in the lighting control software, Eos, created by Electronic Theatre Controls (ETC).
There are two cue lists: The main cue list was mostly live fired, with only a couple timecode cues. The second cue list controls the model movements, and this was entirely timecoded, with its clock started by a macro, fired by QLab.
The primary console of this project was a PC Laptop, and the Augment3d visualiser was run on a Mac mini M4 Pro.
This project was compiled in Adobe Premiere Pro.
