Step-by-Step Process:
1️⃣ Check Your Current Status
Visit https://voters.eci.gov.in
or use the Voter Helpline App.
Search your name, EPIC number, or family details to confirm your registration.
2️⃣ During BLO Visit (4 Nov – 4 Dec 2025)
BLO will visit your home with an Enumeration Form.
Verify your details carefully.
If new or missing, fill Form 6 (new registration) or Declaration Form.
🧍♀️ If You’re Not Home When BLO Visits:
BLO will mark you as Absent/Shifted/Not Verified.
Your name will appear on a public list at your Panchayat/Urban Office and the State CEO website.
You can later apply online via https://voters.eci.gov.in
using Form 6 or 8.
Family Member Endorsement Clause:
If the voter is not present during the BLO’s visit,
👉 Any adult family member can sign or thumb-impress the Enumeration Form on their behalf — mentioning their relationship (e.g., father, mother, spouse, brother, etc.).
This is allowed as per Annexure III of the SIR circular.
The ERO may later verify with the actual elector if required.
📜 If Your Name or Your Parent’s Name Exists in the Old 2002 Roll
✅ You don’t need extra documents — BLO will verify from old records.
✅ Just confirm details in the new Enumeration Form.

🧾 Physical verification may still be required by BLO/ERO for new or mismatched applications.
Important Tips:
Be present or reachable during BLO visits (Nov–Dec 2025).
If you missed the visit, check the absent voter list at local offices or online.
Verify your name in the draft roll (9 Dec 2025).
Submit any claim or correction before 8 Jan 2026.
Confirm your name in the final roll on 7 Feb 2026.
Why It Matters:
Your name on the voter list = your right to vote.
Even if you have a Voter ID, you cannot vote unless your name is on the electoral roll.
Check, verify, and update your details before the deadline to make sure your voice counts in the 2026 elections.
