Up to 15 protesters have been arrested following protests outside an Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility in Chicago, Illinois.
On Friday and Saturday, protesters gathered outside the processing facility in the Chicago suburb of Broadview as tensions quickly grew with law enforcement.
The violent clashes between the activists and law enforcement occurred over two days as anti-ICE protests continued across the state.
During the protest, demonstrators were heard criticising federal agents and the Trump administration’s immigration campaign “Operation Midway Blitz”.
The operation underway in Chicago has seen illegal immigrants arrested en masse, with parents and whole families being picked up.
