Описание: This is the Episode 7 of our Ladakh Road Trip. It’s nothing short of a cinematic dream. We start our journey from Leh, driving towards the legendary Khardung La, one of the highest motorable roads in the world. As we climb higher, the landscapes slowly transform — rugged mountains, snow-kissed peaks, and endless silence that speaks louder than words.
After crossing Khardung La, we descend into the breathtaking Nubra Valley, a land where mountains meet desert. Our first stop is the iconic Diskit Monastery, standing tall and calm, overlooking the entire valley with a sense of timeless peace. Beside the breathtaking views from here you will witnessed the great 106 feet Maitreya Buddha Statue.
From there, we continue towards Hunder, famous for its cold desert and unique sand dunes. Here, we experience a truly rare adventure, a ride on the Double-Humped Bactrian Camel, found only in this part of the Himalayas. It feels dreamlike to see camels walking against a backdrop of towering mountains.
As the day comes to an end, we check in at Hotel Nubra Residency, our stay for the night, surrounded by silence, stars, and the raw beauty of Nubra Valley.
This journey from Leh to Nubra is not just a road trip, it’s an experience that stays with you forever.
