History of subsea7.
Subsea 7's history in Caithness is tied to its Wester Pipeline Bundle Fabrication Site, established in 1978 near Wick. The company and its predecessors have operated in the area for over 40 years, employing and engaging the local workforce and supply chain in projects for the North Sea, West of Shetland, and Norwegian Seas. The site is unique for its inland location and a sheltered bay for launching the integrated pipeline bundles.
Streets it took to get out of wick to subsea7.
Scalesburn Hill, Willowbank Road, Girnigoe Street, Henrietta Street, George street, and out North Road to its transfer site swop trailers then out to site,
