I've been floating remote smaller stretches of river for over six years now, and it's really hard to find a boat that can check all the boxes in terms of what is needed in remote wilderness. While the SOAR isn't perfect, it's as close as I've found to the ultimate backcountry boat.
I thankfully had the chance to talk to Larry, the owners of SOAR (Somewhere On A River), a really great guy, and he's really passionate about his boats!
