If you haven't clocked by now, I love salted caramel, so this is my go to recipe whenever I need to make cakes! If you try these out take a picture and tag me in them, my social media is below!
Recipe: (12 cupcakes)
Brown sugar sponge:
200g brown sugar
200g self raising flour
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp bicarb of soda
4 eggs
200g butter
1 tsp vanilla
Buttercream:
200g butter
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
400g sifted icing sugar
Salted caramel: (half for buttercream and half for topping and filling)
1 cup sugar
6 tbsp water
1 cup double cream
1 tsbp sea salt
