DO NOT BUY AN Ocean Alexander 45..This Boat was Purchased in 2020 and shipped direct to Europe, the selling company didn't even turn up for an official handover or Seatrial which you would normally receive from a new boat of 10% of the value of this craft.
We were VERY unhappy with the service and the state the boat arrived in, so we took it upon ourselves to get her properly surveyed "again" and we found many many problems. Main problem being the Beautiful TEAK DECK just wasted with very poor quality installation techniques allowing the deck to literally PEEL off. the Hard top wouldn't last 20minutes of bouncing around in the sea so that has also had lots of work done. All of the hatches and doors had cheap rubbish Piano hinges that were already loose upon delivery and most had tried to be fixed twice so many unsealed holes which meant water ingress into the hatch lids etc... Now we have to spend 8 weeks in a tent to try and make this boat how it should have been delivered. Every day we find more & more problems to try and Rectify, causing much grief to all involved. When you should be out on the water enjoying yourself with such a craft.
