Roughly 100 friends, family members and strangers gathered in Macon Saturday afternoon to remember the life of Gabby Dixon.
"We have been through a whole lot of storms in the last nine, 10 months," Reginald Dixon Sr. said. "Everyone has been effected by my daughter going on home to be with Jesus,"
She went missing back in October 2023. In July, law enforcement said her body was found near a construction site in Monroe County.
During the celebration of life, people who knew Gabby shared comments on her impact.
"A man can live 100 years and not leave a mark. Gabby left a mark," one woman shared.
