60103 Flying Scotsman storms Snow Hill Line with Vintage Trains Moor Street Scot Day 1 18/02/2026

Описание: So today was the first day of three with 60103 Flying Scotsman running Vintage Trains Moor Street Scot with 47773 taking the lead from Birmingham Moor Street to Dorridge with 60103 leading back into Birmingham.
My first capture sees me at my usual spot for ECS moves out of Tyseley Steam Trust at Small Heath Station where the view never disappoints.
After that I managed to get the 09.58 to Dorridge where I walked back to Bentley Heath Level Crossing even making it in time to see 47773 heading into the goods loop so that became my second capture.
My third capture sees 60103 Flying Scotsman leading from Dorridge goods loop and as always the view is spectacular.
After that I headed to Solihull on a 188 bus where I stopped off in the town centre to grab a coffee because by then I was frozen with the biting wind blowing today before I headed for the station and once again I caught 47773 leading towards Dorridge for my fourth capture before 60103 Flying Scotsman returns for my fifth one of the day and as always the steam locomotive was working well.
After that I chose to miss the next run of the day heading home to get a bit warm before I headed back out for my sixth and final capture of the day at Tyseley Station for 60103 Flying Scotsman leading back to Birmingham Moor Street on the final run of the day although on Vintage Trains they were advertising another run at 18.30 but the timings didn't show that for today only heading back into Tyseley Steam Trust so I'm unsure why but still a great day, even if it was a very cold one.
