Disney Investor Gerber: Company Should Split Into Three

Описание: Ross Gerber, President and CEO of Gerber Kawasaki Wealth and Investment Management, joins Bloomberg Businessweek Daily to discuss Disney's latest earnings results, including the company's tepid forecast for growth in the current period and its board's reported alignment on promoting theme-park division chairman Josh D’Amaro to CEO, succeeding Bob Iger. However, Gerber says that a break-up should be a priority for the entertainment giant. "They just can't seem to get the momentum going, and the valuation for Disney makes no sense," Gerber tells Carol Massar and Tim Stenovec. Gerber says a break-up into three parts, including parks and experiences, non-sports entertainment, and a "pure sports play" makes the most sense to him, emphasizing that Disney's assets are "the best in Hollywood." Gerber also weighs in on reports that SpaceX will combine with xAI.
