Описание: Episode 1 begins our journey in Hogwarts Legacy as we step into the Wizarding World as a brand-new fifth-year student with a mysterious ability to see traces of Ancient Magic.

After creating our character, we are introduced to Professor Eleazar Fig, who escorts us to Hogwarts via magical carriage using a Portkey. During the journey, Professor Fig explains that we are joining Hogwarts unusually late as a fifth-year, and the Headmaster has asked him to help us catch up before term begins.

However, the peaceful journey turns into chaos when a dragon violently attacks the carriage mid-air, destroying it and separating us from the others. In the chaos, Professor Fig shouts for us to grab the Portkey — a mysterious enchanted object — which transports us away just in time.

We arrive at a remote cliffside in the Scottish Highlands, surrounded by ancient ruins overlooking the ocean. There, we discover strange, faded symbols only visible to us. This is the first hint that our character can perceive Ancient Magic.

Following Professor Fig, we explore the ruins and uncover a sealed stone doorway. Inside lies a hidden magical chamber that reacts to our presence. After learning the spell Revelio, we unlock deeper layers of the ruins and encounter a Pensieve memory from one of the Keepers — Percival Rackham.

The trial begins.

Inside the chamber, statues come to life. We face our first magical combat encounter and learn the basics of spell casting. Eventually, we confront a massive stone Guardian, a powerful magical construct protecting the trial. After defeating it, we unlock Ancient Magic energy for the first time — a power long lost to the wizarding world.

Meanwhile, Professor Fig reveals that someone intentionally sent us here and that this power may have been hidden for centuries.

The journey continues to Gringotts Wizarding Bank, where we meet goblins and travel deep into the vaults via enchanted underground cart systems. The vault we seek — Vault 12 — was commissioned shortly after Gringotts was founded. It holds secrets tied to Ancient Magic.

After unlocking the vault, we witness more memories that confirm our rare ability is real — and dangerous.
