Deuce McAllister looked primed to be the New Orleans Saints workhorse back for years in the early 2000s after reeling off three straight seasons of over 1000 rushing yards. Unfortunately, knee injuries quickly took away Deuce's career and he only played 8 seasons because of them. However, Deuce's time in New Orleans saw him become one of the most beloved players in Saints history, and depending on who you ask, the greatest running back in Saints history.
