Factoring difference of two squares with pictures!

Описание: In this simple video, we can see that the difference of squares is quite literally the difference (subtraction) of two squares! In this example, we have one square with side length y and we subtract it from a larger square with side length x. We then reformat the remaining shape into a rectangle to prove that the difference of two squares take the form (x + y)(x - y).
