The Statfold Barn Railway held their annual 'Summer Spectacle of Steam' over the weekend of 8th & 9th of June with a total of 13 engines in steam. Headlining the event was Bagnall "Sir Tom" from the Threlkeld Quarry & Mining Museum. This would be the first railway on "Sir Tom's" tour around Staffordshire & it was only the second time it had left Threlkeld in preservation. The second visiting engine was Fowler No. V11 making a return visit after an extended stay at the Bredgar & Wormshill Light Railway. The visiting duo were joined by 11 members of the home-fleet including the two engines on the relatively new Mease Valley Light Railway, with one of the engines, "Carol Ann", only having made it's debut a month prior. Two non-steam interlopers would also appear at the event in the form of the railcar "The Goose" and Hunslet "Carnegie" on the 18" gauge track. With an impressive roster, the railway was able to run an incredibly intensive service featuring parallel running, double-headers, goods trains & so much more.

Compiling this video proved to be quite the challenge as there was so much action so that I couldn't collect any of the background clips which are usually featured before each shot. In addition, I had taken so many shots over the course of the day, which meant that I wasn't able to include every single shot if I didn't want to spend endless hours editing a video! Therefore, I apologise if this video is not quite up to my usual standard.
