We got to meet him and hear his story, from riches to depression to freedom and happiness. This year we went to Britt, Iowa for the National Hobo Convention and enjoyed it very much. While we were there we got to talk to various hobos and hear them share their stories of how and why they got started hopping and riding trains all over this country. We quickly found out that they are very passionate about what they do and how they do it, from the clothes they wear to the kit (or pack) they carry and what's in it.

Getting out on the road is what Linda and I love to do with our converted cargo trailer camper. We're part time nomads and the nomadic lifestyle suits us to a Tee.
